A lot of "firsts" for the Touchtons

Hannah's surprise portrait! She was 12 weeks in this picture.
Hannah in her bathing suit and sunglasses. She's fast asleep, and although it looks like it, she is not giving a thumb's down.
Hannah dressed in her authentic Kimono, straight from Singapore! Thanks Goldbergs!

It has been a while since my last update, so I apologize for the long delay! The last few weeks have been very busy! Hannah started daycare at the JCC on May 1st. She is in a class with other babies who range from 4 months to 1 year, so she is the youngest right now. She mostly sleeps all day, but we are excited about the social interaction she will have once she is old enough to play with the other babies.

I have started a new job with Morrison Management Specialists, and will be the Catering Manager for Brookwood Hospital. I went to Atlanta all last week for training, so Jason and Hannah were on their own for 5 whole days! I came back to a happy baby, clean house, and tired husband, so I think that everything went well in my absence (I have mixed emotions about this... on one hand, I know he can do it without me which is wonderful, but on the other, hand I know he can do it without me, which is a little sad!).

Hannah's friend Ryan Bradley Aldridge, Jr. was born on Wednesday! He is the son of Ryan and Jill (Puckett) Aldridge. Bradley is so precious, and we got to meet him on Thursday. We can't wait for Hannah and Bradley to have their first play date!

Friday we all hopped in the car to drive down to Mobile for Uncle Robert's confirmation. It was another quick trip, but it was nice to be home with everyone for a few days. Aunt Lara, Aunt Mara, and Uncle Noah were all there, and I think that they are all convinced that they are NOT ready for babies of their own yet. I guess that Hannah will have a sister or brother before any cousins (yes, we are already planning the next one, but don't get too excited, it will still be a few years). We attempted to take Hannah swimming for the first time, but she was too sleepy. She then proved to us that all of her bodily functions are in working order- sorry Nana if we ruined anything!

We had a wonderful Mother's day breakfast this morning, and then headed back to Birmingham for a Mother's day dinner. I got my first Mother's day presents- a Martha Stewart Cookies cookbook that I requested, and a surprise portrait of Hannah.

Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Wait, so Jason took Hannah to get pictures made while you were out of town?!? That is too sweet. I love the picture too, she is so beautiful.

Is that a portrait of Hannah or Scott?? Can't really tell... cute nonetheless.
