Without realizing the impact it would have on Hannah, I mistakenly introduced Elmo. Let me restate that, I regrettably introduced Elmo to Hannah. This child has never been interested in television, or formed an obsessive attachment to any objects other than her pacifier (no blankie, stuffed animals, favorite toys/books, etc.) When I say she is OBSESSED with Elmo I think it is an understatement. Any time she sees or hears a television she begs for Elmo. She wakes up in the middle of the night begging to watch Elmo. She says Elmo in her sleep! Elmo has hit our home hard, and I'm afraid there is no turning back.
I am also afraid that, like every other new development, Hannah is early on hitting the terrible two's. Maybe she just doesn't feel good, or is tired (she was sick over the weekend), but in the past week or so she has been throwing tantrums. She is most definitely her mother's child... she knows exactly what she wants, and she wants it NOW! She says no a lot, and has become more and more impatient. We are hoping this is just a symptom of her illness and not a sign of times to come!
REMINDER: We are going private on July 1st! If I do not have your email address on my list you will not be able to view the blog. And, don't be shy, I look at a lot of blogs, so please just tell me who you are so that I can get you on my list!

Meredith started the terrible 2's early also (around 18 months)... Good news: she got better a few months after turning 2... Bad news: 3 is not good at all!!!
Elmo potty video, just let it go Elmo.....too funny!
Miss D. is finally growing out of the Elmo thing and I could not be happier. That little red monster is annoying.
